For the 2024 season, I had the opportunity to work as a costume technician on Macbeth under designer Nanette Acosta. Here are some of the builds and alterations I completed in my time there!

Lady Macbeth's Madness Robe

I am extremely proud of this piece made for Jessica Dean Turner as Lady Macbeth. I had the opportunity to work on this build from its original mock up to completion. The fabric is silky and delicate; french seams were used throughout. I am elated at the way it looks onstage, effortlessly moving with grace! Below I've included a slideshow of my build process. Please enjoy looking through these images!

Macbeth's Cloak

I am overjoyed with how the Macbeth cloak turned out! The velvet and silk lining proved to be challenging to work with, but I learned a lot through creating this lush, expensive-looking piece! The pattern was created from scratch, and after stitching the finished product, needed further alterations. I learned how to open the lining to adjust the fit of the cape without having to restart it entirely. Made for Greg Beam, who played Macbeth, I would consider this piece a resounding success.
